Reviews and Ratings
I was quite disappointed as the double room in this 3-star hotel turned out to be an inappropriate attic room, even though we paid for a superior room. The sea view was nice, but the room was cramped. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially in reception and the bar area, going out of their way to assist. However, the noise issues led to a chaotic situation with guests being reallocated. The location was great, quiet without music or TV, superbly placed on the seafront in Aberystwyth. Despite the poor room experience, the Full English breakfast was excellent, but the dining area lacked organization. The hotel facilities were satisfactory, with no notable issues.
The hotel is situated right on the seafront and offers a fantastic view listening to the sea, though it could use a bit more atmosphere. The rooms, while small, were surprisingly comfortable, although it was a hassle to move my things late at night. The service was exceptional, especially with the great egg-cooking skills during breakfast. The dining options were decent, but I wished for a more varied selection for vegetarians. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.
The hotel was generally clean but lacked proper amenities in the rooms, making the stay uncomfortable. The staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful. The location was fantastic with a beautiful sea view, but overall, it was overpriced for the quality provided.
The hotel overlooks the promenade and sea, offering dated atmosphere but glorious views and a convenient location. However, the ongoing building work and the unexpected scaffold on the front of the building impacted the overall experience negatively.
